TRAILBLAZERS BRING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH A BANG!!!!!

Over 150 Trailblazers gathered at the Indian Harbor Beach Rec Center for a New years party we won't soon forget. As we all arrived the smells from the kitchen of Patty, Cyndy, and Marie's buffett dinner filled the hall.  The tunes were playing while the blazers socialized with each other and snacked on appetizers to hold them over until the buffet.  There were a couple of very hungry blazers, who will remain nameless, who kept peeping and sneaking in a preview nibble of the buffett.  Around 8 the buffett was served.  It included roast pork, ziti, salad, talapia with shrimp and other side dishes fit for a king.  Everyone's appetite was satiated. 

Now that the Traiblazers were well fed and energized, the music began.  The entertainment was Roughhouse, a local classic rock group that not only played to the crowd, but also with the crowd as they worked the floor.  The lead singer and lead guitar player roamed the room with thier romote mics and brought everyone into the party.  Good job Paula for finding the band and good job Fully Loaded!!!!

 As midnight approched there were door prizes given away to many of the Trailblazers.  Tickets were given out at the door upon admittance and picked from the hat.  Everything from books, candles and gift certificates were given out.

Three, two, one, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! The Trailblazers dropped the ballons that were strung from the ceiling and danced and kissed to Auld ang syne.  Thank you for all the old friends that attended and all the new Trailblazers that joined in too.  It was a great party, great food, and great music enjoyed, most importantly, with great friends.
