      Last friday night Treasurer Judy's Happy Hour at Squid Lips was a ton of fun being with y'all for drinks, a bite to eat, and dancing.....that's what YOU do...I think I just wander, jiggle, and wiggle. I'm sorry Margaret for dragging you out to the dance floor. You can never tell who you may meet on the dance floor....but you are very gracious and the Champ for going where no one has gone before. (Tiki Bar Star Trek) Thanks Ms.Patty and Zen-Judy for accompanying us. You are great participants no matter what fool asks you to dance. (Frank Zappa's "Dancing Fools"...that's me.) Thanks Groovey Sue for keeping me company in the end.....and, of course, Dorn who has no "Offf" switch. The Band was Mo Getz and they are excellent. After a couple of glasses of wine I'm not ashamed of my antics....I hope you're not embarassed due to me. I am your "Welcome" mat. Kathy Brandt brought her sister who is from Santa Cruz, California (yes...we are national) who also joined the Club. Thank goodness I didn't scare her off. Sorry Pauline if I was grouchy on the phone....now you know I'm hopeless. Gracias Ninfa and Pat for coming out to TBr Dinner last week AND Squid Lips....you're gluttons for punishment.....my kind of people. I hope us TBr men were not too zealous in our efforts to entertain....you make us/me Very Happy. With a little training we'll behave. Speaking of TBr Dinner it was another success with 22 of us at Amicis in Suntree. Grazie tutto for coming out to dinner. Prego.
    
     Next month I want to have TBr Tasters Club Dinner at Matts Casbah downtown Melbourne on an odd dated Wednesday. I think 23 Trees will be playing music there. I'll firm it up later...probably the 17th or 31st of August. They have a good variety of dishes and a nice patio bar/dining area. On Labor Day Weekend September I'll have a Swim Day at Spessard Park Melbourne Beach probably on Sunday the 4th. I'll see what BTs Bistro can whip up for us. I'm just a "very busy" (yet poor) Realtor with 5 Short Sale Contracts going none of which are Bank Approved..."pie in the sky" (who said you can't live on hope)....so it'll be PBJ on white or, Smoked Turkey Breast with Provolone, Pesto, and Artichokes on Panera Cheese Bread depending on how many I close in August.....if any. Ha Ha. In October I want to plan a two day Campout at Long Point Park the weekend before Halloween. It should be nice and cool. It is a well kept camp ground with restrooms on the River just North of the Sebastian Inlet. There are 113 Campsites on the River. We can have a pre Halloween Witching Hour around the Campfire Saturday Night and scare up some goblin brew and Boo Hoo over nothing....or Boo Who over something. There is also Long Point Cafe near the A1A entrance to the Park. They will be open for Breakfast, Lunch, AND Dinner starting in October. They have a great cafe menu and the owner assures me the Sea Food is fresh. Just South of Long Point Park is the Inlet Marina. They have canoe and kayak rentals as well as a couple of 16' skiffs and a pontoon boat. It looks pricey but a couple of hours shared by a few are affordable....you can rent and boat over to your campsite and then back to the Marina and your car. Please don't drown (just stand up) or get lost in the maze of little islands. I'll attach the Links and Rates later. Just planning ahead and staying involved in my cherished community of Trailblazers....so many nice people. And then it will be Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Another very good year with the Trailblazers. Please renew if you haven't already done so. See you at Cowne Plaza.
